The news that hit the world on Saturday, July 17th, 1999, shocked an entire nation. The private plane, piloted by JFK Jr. (38) and carrying his wife, Carolyn Bessette Kennedy and her sister Lauren had disappeared on its way to Martha's Vineyard.
